With your computer almost ready, you are probably wondering which processor to buy. We are living a few years of incredible technological advances that result in one hardware presentation after another. Among those companies that are betting on technological innovation in the world of gaming components is AMD. Its processors AMD Ryzen 3000 processors are on the lips of all those people who have in mind to build a PC or who want to renew theirs. Now that you already have your PC case, cooling, power supply and fans with a lot of RGB, we introduce you to the new computer processors from the American company.
AMD announced in May the launch of its new computer processors. The AMD Ryzen 3000 AMD Ryzen 3000 series series is built around TSMC's 7 nm Zen 2 architecture. In a market dominated by Intel it was not easy to stand out, but they managed to do so thanks to their competitive pricing, as they could be purchased at a lower price than their previous model (Ryzen 2000) on release day
But they did not stand out only because of their low price, but also because at a technical level they offered improvements never seen before. They were the first processors to enable PCIe 4.0 support, with 24 lanes (4 storage, 4 chipset, 16 GPU). Moreover, their high performance (the 3950X model reaches 4.7 GHz) stands out thanks to its 12 to 16 equipped cores, depending on the model. These specifications are now within everyone's reach, but a few years ago they were only available to a few companies
The processors for pc AMD Ryzen 3000 processors represent a leap in quality in the gaming sector. Its performance in computer games is at the height of the leading brands due to the implementation of improvements in IPC and frequencies, as well as CCX optimization. Thanks to their value proposition they have managed to unseat the previous model, the Ryzen 2000, selling more than 60% of total AMD processor sales today, with the Ryzen 7 3700X being the best-selling processor.
This difference between the Ryzen 2000 series and the ryzen 3000 series series is justified due to price and the 15% improvement in CPI
The price of the AMD Ryzen 3000 processors has caused its main competitors, including Intel, to reconsider lowering the price of their processors. The current market share in the sale of this product places Intel with around 35% of sales and AMD with 65%, so there is no margin for reaction for the company that has been the leader in the sector up to now. With inferior specifications, Intel can no longer justify having a higher price than AMD, so it has two options: lower the price of its current models or invest in technology to launch an improved model at a competitive price
