A few days ago we completely renewed our range of liquid cooling. The Hydrus 120/240 range had been with us for a long time and it was time to give them a new touch and update them. On our website we already have available its improved version, the liquid cooler Hydrus V2 with its characteristic lights in blue or red. But as you asked for it so much we have added a new model to the Hydrus family, the cooling Hydrus RGB that instead of having the fan in red or blue, we will have at our disposal the full range of RGB colors.
In this article we are going to tell you the differences that we have added to these new models with respect to the first Hydrus. With the trajectory that had the originals and how loved they are we were obliged to give you the best, to continue raising the level and at the same price.
For this new version of our Hydrus liquid cooling we have started by a complete renovation of all the original materials with which we have increased its effectiveness and performance, while maintaining the great durability that has always characterized our original cooling.
The pump of the Hydrus V2 version is what has changed the most visually. Now we find a completely circular design with a matte black finish, but do not worry that we will still have the illumination in red and blue as in the original model. This in terms of aesthetics, but that's not all the improvements, the materials have also changed and now we find a pure copper base in the pump that improves heat transfer allowing a lifetime of our component of about 30,000 hours.
In the version Hydrus RGB version, the materials are the same as in the Hydrus V2version, also having the same copper base. The change here comes in the illumination of the pump, enjoying a white lighting contrasting with the matte black finish.
The fan now includes PWM technology with which the speed at which they operate is regulated. Depending on the temperature that is reaching our team fans will rotate faster offering a greater flow of air to reduce the heat of our components. We have also added more RGB, which is something that never hurts. In the original version the illumination ran along the edge of the fan, but in the Hydrus V2 the blue and red are integrated throughout the blades giving us much more spectacular effects.
In the Hydrus RGB version the lighting also runs along the blades but we will have the full range of colors to choose the one we like and synchronize it with the rest of our RGB components.
For the radiator we have maintained its aluminum structure opting for a low density per inch technology design. This allows the air expelled by the fans to pass smoothly across the entire surface of the heatsink. This translates into a larger cooling surface to get the most out of all components, achieving the perfect combination of cooling and noise dissipation
These are all the differences that you will find those who decide to rely on the new version of our liquid cooling Hydrus V2 and Hydrus RGB. We hope this will help you to know them in depth and encourage you to join the Hydrus family.
